IHC offers our customers one of the most complete, versatile construction material packages in the industry, along with International Homes of Cedar's laminated cedar and pine timbers, in a selection of widths to comply with even the most extreme climatic conditions and building code requirements. IHC also offers a 30 year Warranty on any of their wall systems.
Use of an IHC package means that your project is erected faster, virtually without waste, and at less cost than similar site-built structures. Our building system package includes girders, floor system, laminated and stick framed wall systems, for flexibility of interior accents. The 5x8 solid laminated cedar timbers have a one hour fire rating and can be used in commercial structures as well as fire walls in residential homes. You can also choose from many options of doors and windows to further customize your project. Roof systems provided by us range from cathedral or open beam ceilings to engineered trussed roof structures, or combinations of both. R-factors adjust with optional insulation thickness to meet any climatic requirement. Our building systems can be used to build homes at any desired energy rating, all the way up to Five Stars.
